SCIHO Board of Directors
President: John Vargo is fiscal controller for the South Central Community Action Program. He has been the executive director of an affordable housing nonprofit and has experience in all aspects of developing and building new affordable homes from grant writing to site acquisition to general contracting.
Vice President: Nordia McNish is pursuing a degree in Social Work from Indiana University. She is committed to creating possibilities for change for low-income individuals and families. Ms. McNish serves as a low-income representative on the SCIHO board.
Secretary/Treasurer: Kelly Toto is an Accounting Clerk at Cook Medical. A resident of Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s Trailview neighborhood, she started their Neighborhood Association and is currently on the neighborhood Homeowners Association board. Ms. Toto serves as a low-income representative on the SCIHO Board of Drectors.
Amy Roche has had a wide range of civic and nonprofit experience, including serving as Board Chair for the Bloomington Community Orchard. She is trained as a Community Justice and Mediation (CJAM) Mediator and active in the McDoel Gardens Neighborhood Association. Ms. Roche serves as a low-income representative on the SCIHO Board of Directors.
